Machine learning is a non-traditional software that does not work more or less like a kind of recipe. The software receives data, which is then processed based on a clear description, and it produces the results, much the same way that someone collects their ingredients and goes through processing them by following some sort of recipe that ultimately produces a cake. Rather than this, in machine learning, the computer learns by example, which allows it to tackle problems too vague and complicated to be managed by step-by-step instructions.
